About the Event

The Deseronto Public Library is pleased to welcome Carson Arthur of Carson's Garden and Market in Bloomfield for a special one-hour presentation focused on food security, local agriculture, and the importance of growing food at home.

This talk will explore today’s food supply chain, changes in Canadian agriculture, the impacts of our changing climate, and why sustainability matters now more than ever. Attendees will learn how home gardening can strengthen our community, support local food systems, and make a meaningful difference.

Join us to learn, connect, and be part of a growing movement toward a more sustainable and food-secure community! 🌾

This talk is free, however attendees are encouraged to bring a donation for the local food bank.
